In honor of Native American Heritage Month, The Academic Center for Biomedical and Health Humanities (HealthHum) presents a HealthHum Panel, "Indigenous Voices in Health: A Community Conversation. Thursday, Nov. 13 at 3:30pm in Rhatigan Student Center 262 Herrman Room. Panelists include: Chantal Nez Dominguez, MPH, (Navajo/Dine) Program Manager, Center for Public Health Initiatives at the Community Engagement Institute who will speak about Community Engagement for Better Health Outcomes in Native American Communities. Laura Razo, JD, CHW (Kickapoo/Potawtomi) Attorney and former elected tribal leader will speak about Cultural Healing and Health Relationships for Urban Teens. Lori Santos, PhD (Taino) Art Educator in the WSU School of Art, Design, and Creative Industries will speak about Indigenous Perspectives on Mindfulness and Wellbeing in Artistic Practice.
