The conversation will begin with a discussion about the U.S. election system's highly decentralized nature and how it has held up in recent years before diving into what needs to be done to ensure continued election integrity, with a particular focus on three things: 1) Access (Ensuring that all eligible voters can reasonably cast a ballot;) 2) Legitimacy (Ensuring that election administration is perceived as legitimate across the political spectrum with accurate, fair and observable participation and results); And 3) Security (Ensuring that elections are not disrupted by malicious activity such as disinformation and cyber-interference.)
