Wichita State to host USD 259 School Board Candidates for forum

Wichita State University (WSU) has partnered up with The Wichita Beacon, Loud Light and the League of Women Voters to host a forum with USD 259 School Board candidates on Wednesday, October 25th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in Room 211 of Hubbard Hall n the Wichita State University Main Campus.

All USD 259 candidates have been invited to the forum to answer questions taken from WSU students and The Wichita Beacon readers. The forum will provide an opportunity for each candidate to answer a series of questions. Each candidate will be allowed 90 seconds for their answer. Content for the question has come from WSU students as well as from Beacon readers who were invited to submit questions in September.

The forum will be moderated by Neal Allen from the Wichita State University, Political Science Department and a Wichita State student elected to represent student voices.

The event is open to the public and ticketing is not required. For additional questions reach out to the Student Engagement, Advocacy & Leadership (SEAL) office at Wichita State University by either calling 316-978-7016 or emailing civicengagement@wichita.edu.
