Wichita State women’s golf recorded four top-five team finish this fall, the most for the Shockers since 2017-18. Coach Tom McCurdy and senior Mackenzie Wilson join us to talk about what went right for the Shockers in the fall and a variety of golf topics. We discuss Wilson’s growth as a Shocker and how she worked on the mental side of the game. We also reminisce about Wilson’s use of a spread sheet to organize her life and how that helped her college life. McCurdy and Wilson discuss their favorite golf courses and favorite golfers, leading us into a discussion about “Do young golfers appreciate Jack Nicklaus?”
