Sign number 1: Transgender Day of Remembrance Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance that honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in the acts of anti-transgender violence. Join us for a memorial service and Belonging Plaza presentation at 7pm on Thursday, November 18 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Sign number 2: Stroll for Tomorrow The brothers of Chi Sigma Tau will be hosting their 7th annual philanthropic event, Stroll for Tomorrow, on Saturday, November 13 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the CAC Theater! National Panhellenic Council and Multicultural Greek Council teams from WSU and beyond will be competing for a grand prize of $500 and the title of best strolling team in the Midwest! Sign number 3: Commencement RSVP reminder Wichita State University's Fall 2021 Commencement for all colleges will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Charles Koch Arena. Walnut, Wichita, for a brief orientation and guidance on delivering food according to proper social distancing guidelines. Volunteers will meet at 10:30 a.m. on September 17th, October 15th and November 12th. They will then be given addresses and food for delivery. Volunteers must have reliable transportation. Volunteer shifts should end by 1pm. All service events may be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions released by the university. Volunteers will be notified if the event is cancelled. Resilience is not something we are born with. It is something we can be taught and nurtured. Morgan's resilience was nurtured through life experience and has evolved out of necessity. She has dedicated herself to the work that instills the values of resilience and liberation in her community, whether its youth in the classroom during a sexual health lesson, supporting an incarcerated person with advocacy or supporting the leadership of color.
