Student drag artists for the 13th Annual Drag Show, which will be held from 8-10pm at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex on Friday, March 31. Sign number 8: Hypnotist Chris Jones Hypnotist Chris Jones will perform his mind boggling act at 8:00pm, Friday, February 24, at the CAC Theater in front of a live audience. Admission rates are: free for students, $5 for faculty and staff; and $8 for the general public. No registration is required. Jones is a hypnotist, comedian and the host of the prank series Double Take on Facebook Watch. In each episode of the new series, Jones conspires with a different celebrity — from John Cena to Pamela Anderson and NeNe Leakes — to give one adoring fan the surprise of a lifetime which is meeting and interacting with their idol in a range of crazy circumstances, though under hypnosis, unable to recognize them. He performs over 200 shows a year. Jones is well known for his appearance on America’s Got Talent when he made the impossible happen. Known germaphobe Howie Mandel shook hands with Heidi, Howard, and Mel live. Since his first TV appearance, Chris has performed on shows like The Steve Harvey Show, Windy City Live, Good Day Chicago, Penn and Teller, Scam School, and the Adam Carolla Show. Sign number 9: Attend Pee for Pizza Event (March 1st) The next Student Health Services (SHS) Pee for Pizza event will take place noon-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st, at the Student Wellness Center in the Steve Clark YMCA. During the event, participants can get tested for STIs (sexually transmitted infections) by submitting a urine specimen and then receive a free pizza. Pee 4 Pizza is a Sexual Health awareness event that allows you to test for sexually transmitted illnesses such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV and Hepatitis C, and know your status for FREE! Urine and blood specimens are collected and free pizza is provided afterwards. Co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Positive Direction and Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes, Pee for Pizza occurs twice a month through the fall and spring semesters and is by reservation only. Come join us for a half hour presentation with early French organ music by Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, his lovely, delicate suite on the second tone. This makes beautiful use of the great Marcussen organ's tonal resources and shows off the sound "recipes" for this type of music. After an overdose, they hallucinate a story with characters in their "real world" becoming characters in a dream. This young person becomes "Pippin," the heir to the Frankish throne.
