Then from April 12 to April 14 the Shockers will play against South Florida in Florida. On April 17 the Shockers will travel back to Wichita to host Oklahoma State. The following weekend, April 19 through April 21, the Shockers will host UAB for an exciting AAC match up. The final away series for the Shockers will be April 26 to April 28 against North Texas. A reception will take place at 5:30 p.m., with the program following at 6 p.m. Sacks holds an MFA from the Programs in Writing at the University of California, Irvine. Their debut novel, "City of a Thousand Gates" was awarded the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize for fiction. Their second novel, "The Lover," was published in 2023. A former journalist, Bee worked at Vanity Fair for several years before moving to Israel-Palestine to study sacred Jewish texts.
