Participate on Tuesday, August 6th at 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M. for Completing Government Contracts, Basic Training. Federal, state and local governments spend more than $800 billion per year buying goods and services. This introductory seminar, provided by the Kansas APEX Accelerator formerly Kansas PTAC, offers an overview of the critical first steps to becoming a government contractor. Join us to learn to identify opportunities and understand the contracting process. You will also learn about services available to help you. A Special Guest, Carolina Vargas from the U.S. General Services Administration will join this program to provide information on GSA Schedules and also on the opportunities with the Public Building Service within GSA that operates federal buildings. Fall 2024 Course: [[ char LTRL ]]musc[[ char NORM ]] 164, Popular Music of the Americas. The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursday, 2:00 to 3:15 pm. Learn about popular music styles and genres from the 1860s to the present day. No musical knowledge required. Counts as a General Education Arts/Humanities course and carries a Diversity designation.
