Join the Community Service Board serving dinner at the Lord’s Diner on Wednesday, October 9th and Saturday, November 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Lord’s Diner provides a free meal seven days a week, 365 days a year. Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes is now offering single lane reservations for bowling! You can now reserve lanes for your friends or family, up to 5 days in advance. Just $40 per lane per hour. You may have up to 8 people, however we recommend a max of 6 people per lane. Rental shoes are included. Reservations can be made by phone at 316-978-3479 and payment is due at the time of booking.

This Great Plains Model United Nations Conference allows you to take on the role of diplomats from a foreign country in a simulation of UN committee meetings. This conference allows you to hone your skills in research, writing, public speaking, and negotiation. The Conference is on Friday, October 4th, 12:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Saturday, October 5th, 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. The Conference will be held in Woolsey Hall, on WSU Campus. Come and join the Community Service Board volunteering at the United Way GIV Warehouse. The United Way Give Items of Value (GIV) Program accepts donated items from companies and offers them at no charge to nonprofits throughout the state. The United Way GIV program distributes $400,000 to $1 million worth of donated items each year to more than 100 area nonprofits (including agencies not funded by United Way). GIV partners with Good 360 to obtain donated products from national retailers. Volunteers will meet at the GIV Warehouse to sort and organize items so that they may be given to local nonprofits.
