Join Wu's Big Event, WSU's largest one-day volunteer opportunity! Open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members. Check-in is from 8:30 A.M. to 8:50 A.M. at Beggs Ballroom, RSC 3rd floor. Kick-off with breakfast at 9 A.M., volunteering 10 A.M. to 12 P.M., followed by lunch and closing celebration until 1:30 P.M. Transportation, meals, water, and t-shirt provided.
As part of the College of Fine Arts Connoisseur Series, Wichita State University’s School of Art, Design, and Creative Industries is pleased to host an artist talk with acclaimed photographer Jason Reblando on Thursday, January 30th, at 4:00 pm. in McKnight Art Center, Room 210. Following the talk, a reception will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, offering attendees the chance to meet and engage with the artist. This event is free and open to the public.

"Retaining Women in Engineering", co-written by Bob Stavig and his daughter Alyssa Stavig MD, approaches the problem of women leaving engineering from a systems-level perspective. This book uses principles of Lean Development and draws from the learnings of the field of medicine to discuss concrete methods to change the way engineering is done and learning occurs.
