This Latin American and LatinX Thought course is listed as Philosophy 304 or Modern and Classical Language and Literature 304. Four 2025 WSU Creative Writing graduates will give readings of their work at this Writing Now | Reading Now event on Saturday, May 17. A reception starts at 2 p.m., followed by the program at 2:30 p.m. This free event takes place in the Polk/Wilson Gallery at the Ulrich Museum and everyone is welcome.
Tentative dates are Sunday, May 18 to 27, 2026. Visit three countries: France, Italy and Spain. Classes: Comm 398 for 1 or 3 credit hours or Comm 660AB course option for grad students. Led by professor Eric Wilson. Open to all WSU students – undergraduate and graduate. Honors students can earn credit toward honors requirements with the three-credit option. The program fee includes all flights; triple- or quad-occupancy rooms; inter-city travel; full-time tour director and local guides; all activities on the itinerary; and international health insurance. Sign up to volunteer for the iCanBike and iCanSwim camps held on the WSU main campus later this summer Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 1. This is a great chance to experience working with individuals with disabilities as they learn to swim or ride a bicycle. Volunteers come once daily for 60-75 minutes to support a swimmer as they learn how to enjoy the water and swim or to run alongside a rider as they learn to ride a bicycle.
