Sign up to volunteer for the iCanBike and iCanSwim camps held on the WSU main campus later this summer Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 1. This is a great chance to experience working with individuals with disabilities as they learn to swim or ride a bicycle. Volunteers come once daily for 60-75 minutes to support a swimmer as they learn how to enjoy the water and swim or to run alongside a rider as they learn to ride a bicycle. Four 2025 WSU Creative Writing graduates will give readings of their work at this Writing Now | Reading Now event on Saturday, May 17. A reception starts at 2 p.m., followed by the program at 2:30 p.m. This free event takes place in the Polk/Wilson Gallery at the Ulrich Museum and everyone is welcome.
