Latin American and LatinX Thought course for Fall 2025

This Latin American and LatinX Thought course is listed as Philosophy 304 or Modern and Classical Language and Literature 304. It can be found under CRN 14618 for Philosophy credit or CRN 14622 for MCLL credit. It will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 until 12:15 and will be located in Fiske Hall room 308. Volunteer for iCanBike and iCanSwim Camps Monday, July 28 – Friday, Aug. 1

Sign up to volunteer for the iCanBike and iCanSwim camps held on the WSU main campus later this summer Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 1. This is a great chance to experience working with individuals with disabilities as they learn to swim or ride a bicycle. Volunteers come once daily for 60-75 minutes to support a swimmer as they learn how to enjoy the water and swim or to run alongside a rider as they learn to ride a bicycle. Summer internship in the philosophy of biomedical engineering

This opportunity is for a summer internship in the philosophy of biomedical engineering. The project will last 12 weeks. The internship will be for 12 hours per week at $13.77 per hour. There will be a flexible schedule. WSU students in philosophy, biomedical engineering, and related fields are encouraged to apply. The course PHIL 386 Biomedical Engineering Ethics in Fall 2025 will include the BMES Code of Ethics, benchside research integrity, IRBs and clinical trials, HIPAA and data integrity, IACUC and animal subjects, tissue engineering, implants and wearables, drug delivery, biomolecular machines, (epi)genetic engineering, transhumanism, posthumanism, cases from the headlines, and student-chosen topics.
