Try the Pickle Pizza Pie in November

Visit the Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes in November to try the Pizza of the Month, the Pickle Pizza Pie. It’s topped with alfredo sauce, ranch seasoning, cheese, pickles and ranch dressing. Prices are $7.99 for a 7-inch, $16.99 for a 12-inch, and $20.99 for a 16-inch pizza.

Shocker Financial Wellness Fall 2025 Workshops

Attend 3 of the first 4 workshops and complete 1 peer coaching appointment to enter the drawing for a free spring tuition scholarship. Scholarship is non-renewable and in-state value only. Workshops include Budgeting 101 (Wednesday, Sept. 10), Buying vs. Leasing Cars (Wednesday, Oct. 1), Living on and off Campus (Wednesday, Oct. 29), and Scholarship Tips (Wednesday, Nov. 12). Wichita State University School of Performing Arts presents the production of “Company”

Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts presents Company: A Musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth. Performances run November 12–16, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. and November 15–16 at 2 p.m. in the Welsbacher Theatre at the Metropolitan Complex, 29th and Oliver, Entrance F. Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter of the Year

Sigma Alpha Epsilon announces their most recent achievements from the previous semester and year. Winning Chapter of the Year, raising over $20,000 for Children's Miracle Network, achieving high academics from the previous semester, earning a 3.39 average organization g p a. Interested in event planning, building connections, applying and learning leadership skills, and making memories. Join a committee at SAC, at any point throughout the semester. You can join by attending a meeting, filling out our member interest form, or asking any SAC member you know. Member expectations include maintaining a 2.5 GPA, joining a committee and attending weekly meetings, contributing to the planning and execution of events, having a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. EXTENDED: Faculty/staff can schedule annual health appointments at Student Health

Student Health Services is still able to offer current WSU faculty and staff the ability to schedule their HealthQuest physical exam and lab work until Monday, Dec. 1. If you do not have a primary care provider and currently have private insurance through your employment with WSU, call to schedule your appointment with Student Health providers at 316-978-4792.

Are you 35-65 years old? Come participate in human subject testing in biomechanics to better understand the potential connection to a rolling style with various muscle strengths. The on-campus testing is around 45 minutes a session, is made up of four physical assessments, and there are bottles of water and snacks provided.

Provide a Holiday Gift Through Salvation Army Angel Tree

Provide a holiday gift for a local child or adult through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, hosted by the Shocker Store. The program will be a hybrid this year, with the angel selection process being online but the gifts being returned in store. If you are interested in sponsoring a child or adult, visit bit.ly/angeltreeRSC2025 and select an angel from the Shocker Store virtual Angel Tree. Once you “claim” that angel, purchase the suggested gift(s) listed for that individual and bring it back to the Shocker Store (either RSC or Braeburn Square location) by Tuesday, Dec. 2. Gifts should be unwrapped, new and clearly labeled with your angel’s name and angel number. Thanks for helping make the holidays a little brighter for others.

Philosophy of Medicine course Spring 2026

Philosophy 410, Philosophy of Medicine will be offered in Spring 2026. Explore the metaphysics, epistemology, and science of medicine. Topics include: What is health? What is medicine?, Causation and kinds, Evidence and inference, Objectivity and effectiveness, Molecular and precision medicine, Controversial cases and emerging technologies. Summer 2026 European Travel Seminar

Wichita State University is offering a Summer 2026 European Travel Seminar from May 18 to 27, visiting France, Italy, and Spain. Students can earn 1 to 3 credit hours through COMM 398 or COMM 660AB, taught by Professor Eric Wilson. The trip is open to undergraduate and graduate students, with honors credit available. The program fee is about $4,910 and covers flights, lodging, local travel, guides, activities, and health insurance. Scholarships are available, and the application deadline is November 17, 2025.
