Sigma Alpha Epsilon announces their most recent achievements from the previous semester and year. Shocker Financial Wellness Fall 2025 Workshops

Attend 3 of the first 4 workshops and complete 1 peer coaching appointment to enter the drawing for a free spring tuition scholarship. Scholarship is non-renewable and in-state value only. Workshops include Budgeting 101 (Wednesday, Sept. 10), Buying vs. Leasing Cars (Wednesday, Oct. 1), Living on and off Campus (Wednesday, Oct. 29), and Scholarship Tips (Wednesday, Nov. 12). Scholars Walk

Wichita State University’s Scholars Walk, founded in 2025, recognizes some of the exceptional research and classroom accomplishments of our award-winning faculty. The 11 faculty featured in the Scholars Walk were chosen by each of WSU’s academic colleges in coordination with the Office of Academic Affairs. Are you 35-65 years old? Come participate in human subject testing in biomechanics to better understand the potential connection to a rolling style with various muscle strengths. The on-campus testing is around 45 minutes a session, is made up of four physical assessments, and there are bottles of water and snacks provided.

Philosophy of Medicine course Spring 2026

Philosophy 410, Philosophy of Medicine will be offered in Spring 2026. Explore the metaphysics, epistemology, and science of medicine. Topics include: What is health? Philosophy Month

International Stoles Available for Pre-Order

Students, would you like to represent your home country during commencement? The RSC Shocker Store now carries various stoles in store from different countries and can order stoles from over 100 more countries/territories. To see the selection of countries the Shocker Store can order stoles for, visit shockerstore.com under the "Graduation" tab. Specialty ordered stoles arrive to store in approximately three weeks. Provide a holiday gift for a local child or adult through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, hosted by the Shocker Store. The program will be a hybrid this year, with the angel selection process being online but the gifts being returned in store. If you are interested in sponsoring a child or adult, visit bit.ly/angeltreeRSC2025 and select an angel from the Shocker Store virtual Angel Tree. Once you “claim” that angel, purchase the suggested gift(s) listed for that individual and bring it back to the Shocker Store (either RSC or Braeburn Square location) by Tuesday, Dec. 2.
