Registration is open for Spring 2026, and the School of Performing Arts has a great lineup of classes. You can explore Wicked: Perspectives from Oz, take Dance Appreciation, or dive into Dance History from the twentieth through the twenty-first century. There are also options like Theatre Appreciation, Improvisation for the Actor, Acting One, and Scriptwriting Two. Many of these courses count toward general education, so they’re a good fit whether you’re majoring in the arts or just looking for something creative and engaging next semester.
The Community Engagement Institute invites you to join one, several or all the Fall 2025 interactive and free workshops centered on building stronger teams and communities through appreciation. Wichita State University invites you to the Rie Bloomfield Organ Series Annual Holiday Concert. Are you 35-65 years old? Come participate in human subject testing in biomechanics to better understand the potential connection to a rolling style with various muscle strengths. The on-campus testing is around 45 minutes a session, is made up of four physical assessments, and there are bottles of water and snacks provided.
Join the School of Performing Arts as they celebrate the 2025–26 seniors and their capstone projects in acting, dance, design and technical theatre, theatre, and music theatre. The program will be a hybrid this year, with the angel selection process being online but the gifts being returned in store. Once you “claim” that angel, purchase the suggested gift(s) listed for that individual and bring it back to the Shocker Store (either RSC or Braeburn Square location) by Tuesday, Dec. 2.
