Join Wichita Clean Stream’s, Wichita RiverWalk Cleanup Crew and the Community Service Board for a morning of cleaning up the area around the Arkansas and Little Arkansas River. Paddles for Purpose 2026 is a pickleball tournament being hosted on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Chicken N' Pickle. Address is 1240 N Greenwich Rd, Wichita, KS 67206. All proceeds from this event will go to funding the Dreamers scholarship, which is a scholarship SLB awards to Wichita State students who demonstrate financial need while excelling in community involvement and academic excellence. Join the Community Service Board for Senior Saturdays. Senior Saturdays provides an opportunity for Shockers to interact with local seniors and at Larksfield Senior Living Community. Volunteers may assist with various tasks including yard work, playing games, reading together or just spend time chatting with seniors. No experience is necessary.
Everything old is new again. The Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes has partnered with Flipside Pinball, placing modern-day pinball machines to provide the perfect break in your day. Players can create an account to have their achievements recorded and work to earn a position on our leaderboard. The current lineup includes Mustang, Iron Maiden, Thunderball and Venom. The games operate on cash only, priced at $0.75 for one game or three games for $2.00.

RSO Week, presented by the Student Government Association, takes place Monday, February seventeenth through Thursday, February twentieth. On Monday, February seventeenth, Tea with the Treasurer runs from six to seven p.m. in Shocker Hall, with an interactive discussion led by Student Body Treasurer Bumm about funding, budgeting, and the treasurer role. On Tuesday, February eighteenth, Reserving Space is held from noon to one p.m. in R S C room two sixty-four, covering space reservations, risk management, and campus venues. On Wednesday, February nineteenth, the Marketing Workshop takes place from six to seven p.m. in R S C room two sixty-five, focusing on outreach resources, Canva, and marketing best practices.

The Student Government Association, in collaboration with the Graduate School and the International Student Union, is hosting a Tax Filing Workshop to help WSU students better understand the U.S. tax filing process. This workshop is open to all students and is especially helpful for international students and graduate students who may have additional tax considerations. The session will be led by Dr. Sina Rahimi (Barton School of Business, School of Accountancy), who has extensive experience guiding students through U.S. tax requirements. The award recognizes student organizations, student leaders, faculty and staff for their contributions to student engagement and belonging on campus.
