The RAVE app offers the opportunity to always have someone to walk with, virtually day or night with the Safety Timer. You add WSU police, friends or family as your guardians. Set the timer when you are going from one place to another. When you get there you turn it off. If you don't the app sends a notification to those you selected and they know to check on you. When would you use this? Walking to your car at night, meeting someone new from social media, going somewhere unfamiliar, walking back to the dorm after a late class or event? It does not track you 24/7. Location is only one when you choose. Turn on location services for the most accurate help if you do happen to need it. Add University Police as a guardian for an extra layer of security on campus. Questions? Call 316-978-3450.
