A new sound is taking the stage at Wichita State. The School of Music's new Commercial Music Ensembles give students the opportunity to perform rock, pop, funk, R and B, soul and other contemporary music in a collaborative, high-energy environment. Open to students from all majors, these new ensembles bring together instrumentalists and vocalists from across campus to create, rehearse and perform the music they already know and love. Whether you're pursuing a music degree or looking for a way to keep making music while studying another field, there's a place for you on stage. Bring the music on your playlist to life and help shape the sound of Wichita State's newest ensembles. Interested in learning more? Contact Prof. William Flynn at william.flynn@wichita.edu.
