The Chemistry and Biology Interface Undergraduate Research Showcase will be Nov. 10 in the Rhatigan Student Center at Wichita State. The showcase provides an opportunity for undergraduate student researchers to present their scholarly activity to faculty and fellow students, and is a terrific opportunity for students to develop and foster relationships with fellow researchers, and provide a forum to practice presentation skills in a highly supportive environment. Food and refreshment provided.
Tentative Schedule:
- 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Opening Remarks and Oral Presentations; Rhatigan Student Center, Pike Room.
- 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Plenary Speaker: Dr. James Blakemore, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, University of Kansas, 2007 WSU Chemistry Undergraduate; McKinley Hall Room 224. Topic: Looking “Under the Hood” of Adventures in Chemistry and Energy.
- 4:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Poster Presentations and Award Ceremony; Rhatigan Student Center, Lucas Room.
